Hi there! After over a decade as a youth development professional and educator, I am now a full-time pet care provider and positive reinforcement dog trainer. Giving members of my community (humans and animals) the opportunities to feel safe, understood, empowered, and cared for is the core pillar in all my work - past, present, and future. 

 

Early in my career, I worked in animal husbandry and wildlife rehabilitation in various capacities. I later morphed my career into creating safe spaces for youth and elevating young voices through nature, wildlife conservation, and community. In recent years, I felt the pull to try something a little different, and my desire to work directly with animals again became apparent. In 2023, I completed the Professional Dog Training: Science and Application course through the IAABC, and I am excited to be able to now offer basic training services. 

 

My loving and supportive partner and I are proud moms of a teenage mutant ninja rabbit (DJ) and a peace-loving dog (Fen aka Fenzy). Fen entered our home in 2020 as a young foster (deaf, vision-impaired, and anxious). Little did we know, Fen would inspire the creation of this business rooted in life-long learning for all.
